A Little Information About Me

I was born in 1983 in Los Angeles California. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a special interest in modeling. Taking pictures fascinated me. Whenever my mother reached for her camera I was right there to have the first picture taken.

Because of this sustained interest, I entered modeling contests yearly. At the age of twelve, I competed in Kid Search USA’s modeling contest and became Kid Search’s USA Regional Finalist. Winning this event enhanced my interest in modeling, and as a result I continued to pursue other competitions.

During my teen years my family relocated to Pennsylvania. In high school I was recognized for my strong determination and perseverance to succeed in modeling, winning the title of “Miss Senior Beauty” of my class.

In 2001, I graduated from Penn Crest High School in Media, Pennsylvania. I attended Millersville University in Millersville,Pennsylvania. My college major was communication/performing arts. I developed an attraction to the entertainment industry because I enjoyed dealing with the media so much.

In June 2005 my picture was chosen as the Centerfold Model of Black Men’s Magazine. I also was featured in Show’s Magazine, the magazine featuring the top 100 models in the United States. Since this time I have been encouraged by professional organizations to pursue my modeling career further.

My interest in this field extends far beyond the requirements of this profession. I have also volunteered and modeled for organizations in my spare time, seeking the exposure I need to get the recognition and critique required to succeed in this industry. I have also undertaken odd jobs in the entertainment world to keep me well focused and in touch with my goal.

In pursuing a career in modeling, I seek to advance in my skills of presentation to the media, extending my warmth and beauty to the world. Over the years I have established a strong foundation in dealing with people, one necessary for both success, and excel in this career. I am strong, determined, and I will not ever let go of my dreams. I will succeed. I possess genuine qualities: I am smart, intelligent, and sensitive. I am beautiful both inside and outside. These are the features that make me an asset to the modeling industry. All I need is the opportunity.
